Empowering Growth
One Conversation at a Time
Life’s most difficult moments often bring us to pivotal crossroads, where familiar ways of coping no longer hold and self-defeating cycles feel difficult to escape. The strategies that once protected us from pain can, over time, become limiting, shaping how we relate to ourselves, others, and the world in ways that keep us stuck. Therapy offers a space to slow down and reflect on these deeper patterns, exploring underlying conflicts, meanings, and questions of identity, responsibility, and purpose, so that new ways of understanding and living can begin to take shape.

Meet Dr. Tyler Brown
Welcome to My Private Therapy Practice
I am a Registered Psychologist licensed in Alberta (#6269) and British Columbia (#04054), and I specialize in helping adults navigate major loss, life transitions, and emotionally complex periods of change. I provide in-person therapy and psychological assessment from my office at Southport Psychology in Calgary, conveniently located at the corner of Southland Drive and Macleod Trail. I also offer online therapy for residents of Alberta and British Columbia. My approach is thoughtful, collaborative, and grounded in helping you better understand the patterns, emotions, and experiences that may be keeping you stuck. The aim is not just to cope, but to build clarity, insight, and a stronger sense of direction. My practice is especially well suited to people who want more than quick advice and are looking for a reflective, steady therapeutic process.
